Grandchildren

The kids came home this weekend, at least most of them. It is so nice when they get together, and that is not often enough. Problem is, it's a 2-edged sword... when one comes home, they all do, and we don't really get much relaxed quality one-on-one time. Guess there is no perfect answer. It is wonderful when we get to see them and we'll take it however we can get it.

Wish they lived closer and we could do the day to day thing. So many of our friends pick up the grandkids at daycare, keep them for movie dates, even get tired of having them around! What a luxury! I see Delaney and Maddy changing every visit...becoming little women...They are so precious.

We had Hannah's shower this weekend. Jennifer got lots of nice gifts. How wonderful it will be when Hannah can join us. She topped 3 lbs. this weekend. She is a growing girl!

School is almost out for the summer. Four more weeks. Kerri is in finals and will determine her fate in just days. Can't believe they have all finished school, seems like just yesterday that Ryan had that big paper sack of school supplies in Bailey's borrowed Vette.

Life surely does pass by quick!
